Hosting artists from around the world since 1989, MAISON des ARTISTES continues it's original mission to "cultivate and encourage contemporary fine art and artists, and to create an opportunity for international exchange among artists and the community through the visual arts." In an atmosphere designed to stimulate an artist's personal vision and encourage new and exciting artistic expressions, the artists can focus and work intensively - uninterrupted by the static of everyday life back home.

Hosting several exceptional artists for a three-month period, several times a year, the artists live and work in a quiet, residential neighborhood near the center of New London, Connecticut in the United States of America. As a small, bohemian city, New London has warmly embraced each of the artists that have arrived.
